Who is Sir Osler? He's one of the prominent figures in modern medicine who came up with one of the stigmata of infective endocarditis. And what's the stigmata? It's pretty self-explanatory, Osler's node. Google it up if you want more info. Nevertheless, he also came up with the quote which I think should be the principle for every treating doctor.
